I’m Brittney, a mom to my amazing high functioning autistic son, wife to the love of my life, passionate about education, self care, and Jesus! I enjoy reading, genealogy, coffee, wine, sci-fi, and true crime. We live on 5 acres with our dog, Ren, 2 cats, Bellatrix and Hermoine, and our chickens; and we plan to continue to add to our hobby farm! I started blogging when my son was an infant, as a way to process through some of the difficulties of being a first time mom. Later, we found out he had autism so my blog became a way to connect with others and share our journey. I also enjoy blogging about DIY projects, ways to make life simpler, saving money, and using it as a way to share any tips and tricks I find helpful along the way.

I am a virtual school elementary teacher and I am blessed to be able to work/teach from home.
