100 Days of School. Or Not

Tomorrow is the 100th day of school. The kids are encouraged to do something related to 100. Dress like they’re 100, or we were supposed to decorate a t-shirt with 100 things on it.
B and I didn’t do anything. I didn’t spend hours scouring Pinterest for any ideas. We didn’t sit down together and count to 100 and work on a project together. I won’t be dressing him like he’s a 100 year old man.
I just couldn’t stress myself over it.

I’m learning a lot the older I get about choosing joy over stress, prioritizing, and giving myself grace.

So, My kid is going to school being “100” percent awesome in jeans and whatever t-shirt he picks out to wear.

It is what it is.
And I’m okay with that.

Don’t try to be everything. When you see those moms out there who seem like they are juggling it all, just know there’s something that they’re most likely struggling with as well.
Maybe you’re not the Pinterest/Crafty mom.

But, you’re a mom, and that counts for everything.

And you’re “100” percent awesome ALL of the time!
